Transform your dog's behavior with our trusted training, boarding, and quality of life walking and exercise services.

Peaceful Dog Leadership provides training and in-home boarding services focused on uniting owner and dog through trust, respect, and love. Peaceful Dog Leadership training is customized to meet the needs of each individual owner and their dog or dogs in the Lincoln, Nebraska area. Jackie is your personal Dog Behavior Coach, and her goal is to strengthen communication between owners and their dogs to establish a peaceful and balanced pack based on a strong foundation of leadership skills and mutual understanding.

Let Jackie help you with any issues you are currently experiencing with your dog — whether pulling on the leash, ignoring your command to come, barking or jumping at the front door when guests arrive, reacting to neighbor dogs in the backyard or peeing in the house. Jackie will assess your dog’s behavior, teach you how to understand what your dog is communicating, demonstrate how to solve the problem, and then work with you until you are confident and able to take appropriate action on your own.

Dogs boarding with Peaceful Dog Leadership are supervised at all times in a dog-friendly home environment. Although dogs who are boarding each have their own “safe space” crates in the heart of the family’s living space, they also spend time, just as they would at home, freely moving around the house interacting with the other dogs and humans. Boarding dogs enjoy supervised play time in the yard and plenty of potty breaks.

Play Dates, Dog Adventures, Walks
When there's just too much going on, but your best friend needs some attention, make an arrangement for Jackie to walk your dog, take your dog for an adventure at the park or on a hiking trail, or let them spend a morning or the day at Jackie's for a play date with her pack. Your best friend might also benefit from learning a command while they are on a play date.
Customized training for you and your dog can take place in your home, at a park, or at Peaceful Dog Leadership. During your highly individualized consultation, Jackie will assess your situation and your dog’s needs and address your most pressing concern about your dog’s behavior.
You can expect to learn new ways to communicate with your dog and better understand how your dog communicates with you. You can also expect immediate improvement from your dog!

When you just don't have time for a full training session, you can add an hour of training to Day Care or a Play Date. Jackie will train a command of your choice for an hour during your dog's visit.
At pickup, Jackie will demonstrate how to use the command and give you an opportunity to practice it yourself.
What to bring: food and feeding instructions, medicine if needed, vet contact and vaccination information, a leash and a harness. You may also bring blankets or bedding, toys, bones, and snacks for your dog if you like.
Drop off is 8 a.m. or later and pick up is until 6 p.m. Boarding for less than three nights is charged based on the same drop off and pick up time. A day care charge may otherwise be added. Additional dogs from the same household can be boarded for $30/night for each dog.

There are many reasons Day Care boarding is helpful, especially when things are a little hectic, and your dog can't be your top priority. You can schedule a Play Date with Jackie's pack, get some extra training to learn a command, or just know your best friend has a safe, supervised place to stay while you have to be away for a morning or afternoon.
Day Care is available between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. most days and must be scheduled in advance.
When your dog really needs to spend some time outdoors, consider a Dog Adventure. Jackie will drive to your home, pick up your dog, take them to a park or trail for a long walk, provide some stimulating activities, and drop them off at home. A dog adventure usually takes an hour and a half to two hours.
Jackie will also walk your dog for a shorter period of time in your neighborhood based on your individual needs. Contact her for cost and availability.

Sometimes dogs just need to spend some time with other dogs! Scheduling a Play Date for your best friend just means your dog will enjoy some safe, supervised time with Jackie's pack. In addition to play time in the backyard, the pack also has plenty of time to interact in the house and nap in individual "safe spaces" crates. A Play Date is a perfect solution when you have to be away for a morning or afternoon.
Play Dates are available between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. most days.
